AMANDA DAINIS, PHD, MPA
CEO | Lead Psychometrician
Amanda is the founder of Dainis and Company. She holds a PhD in Assessment and Measurement as well as a Masters' in Public Administration, both from James Madison University. Amanda is a lead psychometric assessor for the ANSI / ISO 17024 standard, and the principal investigator for research studies addressing teen pregnancy prevention. Dr. Dainis currently serves on the Examination Resources and Advisory Committee and the Testing and Examinations Subcommittee for the Council on Licensure, Enforcement, and Regulation (CLEAR). Amanda calls the Shenandoah Valley home, but travels the world helping organizations develop certification programs and navigate the accreditation process.
MERANDA LOKEY, BA
CoO | Senior Project Manager
Meranda currently serves as our Chief Operating Officer. She is responsible for overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operational functions and ensures that the existing business infrastructure has the capacity to achieve the company’s strategic goals. In addition, Meranda is actively involved as a Project Manager for several select clients. In this role, she ensures the timely achievement of project goals and objectives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from West Virginia University. Meranda is a credentialing specialist recognized by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence and specializes in assisting clients develop certification programs that meet ANSI / ISO 17024 and NCCA standards. Meranda resides in the Shenandoah Valley with her husband and two daughters. She can often be found with a good book and a lap full of cats.
MICHAEL MAURICE, MPA
CSO | PROJECT MANAGER
Michael is our Chief Strategy Officer and Project Manager. He has more than 10 years of experience directing staff, budgets, and evaluation efforts for multi-million dollar projects. He loves helping organizations design and implement large-scale programs, evaluate impacts, and manage sustainability efforts through securing additional funds and resources. He has a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit and Public Management and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management. Michael lives in Norfolk, VA.
KATHY TUZINSKI, MA
SENIOR PSYCHOMETRICIAN
Kathy is our Senior Psychometrician. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with an emphasis in measurement and statistics. Kathy is an assessor for the ANSI / ASTM E2659 standard for certificate programs and founder of Human Measures, a company that helps individuals and organizations measure and understand their human talent. She is also an I/O consultant to companies seeking assistance with job analysis / competency modeling, test development and validation, and legal requirements for employee selection procedures. Kathy lives in Minneapolis, MN.
JENNIFER POMERANTZ, CPA
Accountant
Jennifer is our Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance from West Virginia University. Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant and has over 20 years experience in both public and corporate accounting, banking and business management. She is also currently the Business Manager at a non-profit independent school in Harrisburg, PA and owns a tax and accounting business that serves both business and individual clients. Jennifer lives in Enola, PA, with her family, but loves to spend several weekends a year in the Shenandoah Valley visiting the beautiful countryside and her good friends.
Paige Fischer, MA
Associate Psychometrician
Paige is one of our Associate Psychometricians. She helps to guide clients and their Subject Matter Experts through the exam development process, and leads our Standard Setting processes. Paige earned her MA in Psychological Sciences at James Madison University, where she focused on experimental research. She now teaches undergraduate Psychology courses part-time at JMU. Paige resides in Harrisonburg, VA with her husband and can often be found tubing down the Shenandoah River, or enjoying the local music scene.
Charles Nastos, MA
associate psychometrician
Charles is one of our Associate Psychometricians. He leads our clients through the Job Task Analysis process and assists in research design, exam development, and evaluation projects. Charles received his MA from James Madison University in Experimental Psychology with a focus in behavioral research. He has worked at the collegiate level on educational policy and improving teaching standards. He loves cooking, board games, and “Dad jokes.”
